  • CloudPay - G+D Mobile Security

    Senior Software Engineer

    Oct 2017 - Present

                  As a member of the international Convego CloudPayment team, I'm responsible for the development of its BE systems and all its ecosystem. CloudPay allows credit card payments though mobile phones using tokenization technology, making the integration payment through phone easier for Banks and OEMs. This project has given me the chance to work with different banks and costumers arround the world.

    During my time as a member of the G+D innovation team, I had the pleasure to try out and work with all the latest technologies, such as Machine Learning, Blockchain, BLE, Biometric Payment, Cryptography, iOS Apps, Android Apps etc. The main purpose of the team was to test new ideas and generate potential future projects for the company.

    While I was working at GemWeb, I had the gratifying oportunity to design and implement a 3G hard'ware module capable of transmitting in real time the electrical consumption data collected by the metering devices.

    During my stay at the UPC Robotic's Lab, I had the opportunity to design and implement a lot of cool computer vision systems. The most relevant ones are a robotic system based on a tracking algorithm responsible of the guidance of an scara robotic arm and a PoC "trash detection" system using 3D ToF cameras.

    During my internship at ESAII, I had the opportunity to work side-by-side with the best of their field, learning how Comupter Vision algorithms, robotics, electronics and IT systems work. I had different responsabilities starting from the maintenance of the IT Departament infrastructure to helping in different departamental projects. The most relevant one was a low power ARM-based computer vision system capable of classifying kitchen objects.
